Its mahogany finished turned legs and carved stretcher set the stage for the swooping curves and polished penn shell inlays of the magnificent tabletop. The reversible game board, also created from penn shell inlays, plays chess and checkers on one side, and backgammon on the other. Two drawers with antique brass finished hardware provide for convenient storage of game pieces (which are not included).
